Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 July 2026

Vockora uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) to operate the platform, authenticate users, and analyse usage patterns. This Cookie Policy explains what we use and why.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Local storage and session storage are browser-based storage mechanisms that serve similar purposes. Collectively, these technologies help us keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Authentication cookies: These keep you logged in and maintain your session. Without them, you would need to re-enter your credentials on every page. Deleting these cookies will log you out.

Preference cookies: These remember your settings, such as discovery mode selections, currency preferences, and UI state (e.g., accordion open/closed states in reports).

Analytics cookies: These collect anonymised, aggregate data about how features are used (e.g., number of searches, build generations, page views) to help us improve the platform. Analytics data is not linked to your identity in a personally identifiable way.

Third-party cookies (Stripe): When you make a purchase, Stripe may set cookies necessary for payment security and fraud prevention. Vockora does not control these cookies — see Stripe's privacy policy for details.

3. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, Vockora uses browser local storage to persist user preferences and UI state (e.g., collapsed report sections, selected tabs). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless it relates to an action you explicitly perform.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View all cookies stored on your device.
  • Block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
  • Clear all cookies when you close your browser.
  • Set preferences for specific websites.

Note that blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in. Blocking preference cookies will not prevent core functionality but may reset your saved preferences.

5. Do Not Track

Vockora does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals. We rely on the cookie management controls described above.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the app.
